Hello Friends and Families,

We have much to celebrate with the great start to our Oakton Otters swim season - a fun time trials, tie-dye, laser tag, the 70s pep rally, and a WIN yesterday at our A Meet! We hope you and your swimmers are enjoying this great start to summer - GO OTTERS!

As Kara and I spent the past week assessing our volunteer needs, we discovered that we are short about 50 jobs and volunteers. Unfortunately, we could not anticipate at registration time how many families and swimmers would join, or how many Pups would be able to move into regular swim meets, thus we are short with only the five required volunteer jobs for each family.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please kindly take a minute to look on Swimtopia and sign up for one more volunteer spot for your family. Your total commitment for the season will be six jobs, and we can't do it without you. At this point, we do not have enough volunteers to run our B meets and are also struggling to move people around to hold our competitive A meets. We have adjusted in previous years to five positions, but it does change year-to-year based on the numbers of swim families registered.

We thank you in advance for taking the time to add another role. We all want this swim season to be a great experience for our children!
