Hello Otters,

Just a reminder that Otters 2021 Coaching Applications and Pups Assistant Applications are due no later than Monday, March 1st.  We do not yet know how the season will look, therefore the size of the coaching staff will look different from past summers.

Please apply using either the Google Doc link CLICK HERE or the Word Doc attached (please note that the Google Doc will not work using your FCPS account). Return the application to [email protected] no later than Monday, March 1st. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your application. Applicants will receive a Sign-Up Genius invitation for an interview (interviews will be held virtually during the week of March 7th). Coaching requirements are:

For Coaching Positions:

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Must obtain their lifeguard certification and provide us with a copy of the certification before the start of the season (May 28th)
• Must obtain a state work permit if you are under age 16
• Priority will be given to those who are available the entire summer

For Pup Assistants (this is a volunteer role). Pup assistants will not be required to interview this year.

• Must be a rising 8th grader
