As a reminder, volunteer registration opens at 7pm, tomorrow, June 1st.  If you have any questions regarding our new process - feel free to stop by the OSRC tennis tents tomorrow at 6pm to meet with our Volunteer Coordinators!  For more info and to RSVP - click HERE.

• Families with Otters must sign up for 8 points in order to satisfy your volunteer requirement.
• Families with only Otter Pups must sign up for 2 points in order to satisfy your volunteer requirement.

Here are some pointers for a successful volunteer registration! For a further explanation of how our volunteering will work this summer, please click HERE.

How to volunteer for specific meets:

1. Sign in to Swimtopia.
2. Click on the MEETS & EVENTS tab.
3. Find the first event you want to sign up for. Click HERE for a quick summary of the jobs needed for each meet.
4. Click on the “job sign up” button associated with that event.
5. You will now see a list of family members that can volunteer. Under the name of the person that will be volunteering for the selected event, please click “sign up for jobs.”
6. Check the box associated with the job you want to volunteer for. For more information about each job, hover over the black circle with an “i” in it.
7. Click “Save Assignments.”
8. That family member name will now be associated with the job you wanted.
9. If another family member wants to volunteer for the same event, repeat steps #5-7.
10. If you are ready to sign up for another event, repeat steps #3-7 until you have signed up for the appropriate number of points for your family.

Once you are finished, to confirm your point total and see a list of jobs that you have signed up for:

1. Go to the home page and hover over your name in the top right hand corner.
2. Click on “My Account.”
3. Click on each family member name to see the jobs associated with that family member.

Remember - you MUST sign up for the volunteer requirement – that is the number of positions per family that are needed to run this swim season. Our swimmers are counting on us to run these meets and social events! If you have not signed up for all the positions by the time registration closes on June 9th, positions will be assigned to you and you will be required to fulfill them. If no one shows up for your job, your child(ren) will not swim in the following swim meet in which they qualify.
