Hi Otters!

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the OSRC (Oakton Otters) Winter Swim Program for 2021-2022. We are so lucky that Robin Liddell will be returning as Head Coach, and she will be assisted by Practice Assistants.

Practices will be on Sunday evenings, from 6 pm to 7 pm at Oak Marr Rec Center. The program will be broken up into two sessions. Session 1 will be from September 12, 2021, until January 16, 2022; Session 2 will be from January 23, 2022, until May 22, 2022. 

The program has four practice lanes and swimmers are placed in each lane based on their age, level of experience, and/or swimming ability.  In order to qualify for the program, swimmers MUST be able to swim AT LEAST one lap independently and without assistance.  Practices often take place in deep water at Oak Marr and it is recommended that your swimmer has swum in at least one B Meet unassisted.

Due to the popularity of the program, the spots in each lane are filled as received, and are at the discretion of the Head Coach. We will close registration for each lane once that lane has filled up and we will begin wait list at that time. As always, priority will be given to swim team members and to OSRC members.

The fee is $150 per swimmer per session. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY PAYMENT AT THIS TIME.  Once registration is complete, you will be notified regarding the fee that you owe and instructions on how to pay.
