HOW IS A MEET SHEET CREATED?
Have you ever wondered how a meet sheet for an A meet is created? It takes hours for our coaches to plan and develop a meet sheet for an A meet. They look over our ladder and the competitor’s ladder, as well. They place our swimmers in the events that they feel give the Otters the best chance to win. The coaches are looking at your child’s availability to make the meet sheet. It is a challenge for our coaches to place a swimmer in an A meet and find out later they are not available. Our coaches want all of our swimmers to be available if they are called on for an A meet.
It is very important that you declare your swimmers’ availability for all A Meets. Even if you don’t think they have the “fastest times” to swim, you never know - we may need them if that helps the Otters! Please mark your child(ren) AVAILABLE or UNAVAILABLE. If you know for certain that your child is not available to swim, please enter “unavailable”.
ACTION ITEM: Please enter your child’s availability (available or unavailable) on SwimTopia for ALL Saturday A meets ASAP. Declare availability for Meets here.
OTTERS GIVING BACK - please send donations!
We are continuing our annual tradition of Otters Giving Back. This year we will be accepting non-perishable donations for Food for Others. Donations should be put in the social room in age group boxes by this Friday, 6/24. The age group that donates the most food gets a fun practice!

VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK
For our first full week of volunteering, our Otter parents looked fantastic in their blue & white! A huge THANK YOU to everyone for helping to make our meets run smoothly. Our volunteer of the week is Andy Souders - who stepped in at the last minute to time at Saturday’s A meet. Thank you for always helping out when needed - there will be something special in your team folder this week as a token of our appreciation.
