Join the fun with your teammates for Field Day at OSRC! We will have loads of fun including an inflatable obstacle course and back by popular demand - the dunk tank!! Participants should have a bathing suit, towel, and sneakers. Please RSVP by Wednesday night and PREPAY $10 to Lara Kaplan (cash/Venmo preferred - Venmo @Lara-Kaplan). Checks should be payable to OSRC Swim. Please put in the KAPLAN family folder by Wednesday at 6PM. |

Calling all 13&over swimmers! Get ‘dressed up’ and gather at the pool for our first progressive dinner! First we will take pictures at ORSC and organize a caravan. Then we will start a culinary crawl among three different houses. The evening's timeline is as follows:
Parents will pick up swimmers back at OSRC at 9pm. We will need donations to help feed our hungry teenagers -please click HERE to bring donations to the various houses!! |

Swimmers are selected for the A meets based on seed time and the needs of the team. The goal is to maximize the team’s chances of winning the meet by accumulating the most points. Three swimmers will be selected in each of the strokes in each of the age groups for boys and girls. The four strokes are freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Announcements of A Meet selections will be made via email by Wednesday or Thursday each week. This is an away meet - swimmers will meet at OSRC at approx 7:45am and caravan over to the host pool. |

Friday Night Pep Rally & Team Dinner - Country

End: 7:00 PM
Join us for the first pep rally of the season. The theme is "Country" so come dressed in your best flannel, overalls, and trucker hat! The Otters of the Week will be announced and awards will be handed out to the most spirited costumes! Parents: Events start at 5:30pm, dinner will be at 6pm, and everything will wrap up by 7pm. Feel free to drop off your swimmer(s)* or use this time to gather with friends and neighbors for happy hour! Swim team members swimming in the Saturday meet are not permitted in the pool during this time. *Parental discretion to be used for dropping off 8U swimmers. |

Time Trials Copy

Time Trials are held one week prior to the first meet to obtain a baseline time for each swimmer in each stroke. These times are used to help in the selection of swimmers for the first A meet. Time Trials also provides an opportunity for a trial run of our meet procedures for officials, meet administration, and meet preparation. Unless otherwise notified, swimmers will swim all FOUR events at this meet. We strongly encourage ALL swimmers to attend Time Trials. |

Suit Try-On Event

We are excited to introduce our new team suit for the 2023 & 2024 seasons! As the suit is brand new this year, we strongly recommend attending our Suit Try-On Event at OSRC on Sunday April 24th, where you will be able to try on & purchase the team suit. This suit will fit differently than previous team suits, so PLEASE make sure to try on before purchasing. Please click HERE to sign up for a timeslot. Team Reps will also be available to answer any questions you might have about the 2023 Otter Season! Payment by check (on the day of the event) is strongly encouraged. If you are unable to attend, you can also stop by Suit Up, located at University Mall, where you are able to try on and purchase the team suit. |
