Friday Night Pep Rally & Team Dinner - Wild Things Theme

Join us for the first pep rally of the season! Our theme this week is Wild Things. Dress like creatures of the wild or anything "untamed". Animal prints, claws, fur, and crazy hair are encouraged! The Otters of the Week will be announced and awards will be handed out to the most spirited costumes! Parents: Events start at 5:30pm, dinner will be at 6pm, and everything will wrap up by 7pm. Feel free to drop off your swimmer(s)* or use this time to gather with friends and neighbors for happy hour! Swim team members swimming in the Saturday meet are not permitted in the pool during this time. *Parental discretion to be used for dropping off 8U swimmers. |

Picture Day & Pancake Breakfast

Social Activity: Movie Day - Super Mario Galaxy

We will have our own reserved theater and will be watching Super Mario Galaxy (PG). Participation will include a snack pack size popcorn and a drink for all attendees. Please send your child with additional $ if they wish to purchase additional concessions. Please plan to arrive early so everyone has the chance to get their popcorn, drink, and find their seats. Please plan to pick up at 2:30pm as the movie is approximately 90 minutes. 8 and under parents should plan to stay with our younger Otters OR 8 and unders should have a designated friend/parent that will be their chaperone. Parents will need to pay $10 cash at the door or Venmo @elizabethwolfdc. Please note our coaches will not be able to leave the theater during the movie. |

Time Trials

Time Trials are held one week prior to the first meet to obtain a baseline time for each swimmer in each stroke. These times are used to help in the selection of swimmers for the first A meet. Time Trials also provides an opportunity for a trial run of our meet procedures for officials, meet administration, and meet preparation. Unless otherwise notified, swimmers will swim all FOUR events at this meet. We strongly encourage ALL swimmers to attend Time Trials. |

End of Season Awards Ceremony and Pool Party

Join us for an end of season Awards Ceremony honoring our Otters followed by a pool party! The Awards Ceremony will take place in the Oakton Elementary school cafeteria (new location this year), immediately followed by a pool party at OSRC. Please RSVP so we know who will be there as we plan to expedite the awards ceremony by only recognizing those swimmers who are present. |
